Why I Built KG Studios
I have been standing on baseball sidelines for longer than I have been behind a camera. I know what it feels like to watch your kid play their heart out all season, to drive to every practice, cheer through every game, and then get back a team photo that looks nothing like the kid you have been watching grow up on that field.

Stiff. Generic. It could belong to any kid on any team in any league in any state.
I got tired of watching parents accept that. I got tired of league directors apologizing for it. And I realized nobody in the market was actually fixing it. They were doing it the same way it had always been done - fast, forgettable, and move on to the next program.
So I built KG Studios to do something different.
Not just better photos. A better experience. A system that makes picture day the easiest thing on a director's calendar. A team that shows up prepared, runs the day with care, and delivers galleries quickly, because parents should not have to wait two months for a photo they paid for.
What you might not know about me: I also teach dance fitness. I am not shy about bringing energy to a shoot. When a kid is nervous in front of the camera, I will absolutely make a fool of myself to get the real smile out of them. That energy is part of what makes our picture days different. We are not a quiet, clinical operation. We are loud enough to be fun and organized enough to run like clockwork.
Our team feels the same way. We are parents of athletes and athletes ourselves. We are members of the same communities we photograph. We care about these programs because we have been part of them. When we show up to Costa Mesa Little League or Whittier Christian High School or Harbor Trinity Preschool, we are not showing up as a vendor. We are showing up as people who understand what these moments mean.
That is not something a big box company can replicate. And it never will be.
I started KG Studios because I believed every kid deserves a photo that actually looks like them. I still believe that. It drives every decision we make, every program we take on, and every picture day we run.
